Hey there sports fans. As seen on Slashdot recently(ASOSR) the following Washington Post article( http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A52839-2003Oct6.html ) heralds the outcome of a court case involving the FCC's "mistaken" attempt to classify cable broadband internet access as an information service only. This of course is tightly linked with our cause de celebre(pardon my french). Here is a quote:

"...cable-based broadband also is a "telecommunications service," which under current law would make it subject to the steeper rules of the telephone industry."
